One deceased jumper I think we missed is William Driver D-162, a true pioneer of the sport. Bill did all of his jumping in Colorado and never rose to any prominence in the sport. Along with Jim Arender and myself, he participated in Colorado's first successful double baton pass in mid-February of 1962. When I last spoke to Bill, just before my hosting the reunion in Vegas a few years ago, he was in a hospital recovery ward following a colon cancer operation. His telephone number was subsequently cancelled and i assume he didn't make it. Bill
